Introduction: The convergence of the information technology and farming has recently invigorated the plant factory/smart farm industry, which has a great potential for encouraging the disabled to work in the farming industry. As disabled farmers have limited physical abilities and require special needs, smart farms for the disabled farmers also require differentiated working environment and facilities in terms of their forms and functions. Many disciplines of design, such as universal design, user-centered design, service design, human factors design, have dealt with the subject matter of creating innovative environment, tools, facilities, and information communication systems that are accessible to users with disabilities. The goal of this Workshop is to apply creative design problem solving approaches and strategies to propose user-centered design ideas for the disabled farmers who work in the smart farm run by KT(Korea Telecom) in Korea. The Workshop is expected to open up the possibilities of smart farms for functioning as Creating Shared Value(CSV) platforms by providing employment and healing opportunities to the disabled.
